Courtyard After Dark
A warm Marrakech courtyard transformed from a quiet daytime setting into an intimate candlelit dinner, combining layered furniture, refined tableware and architectural lighting.
The Brief
Create an elegant dinner environment that feels connected to the architecture of the venue rather than simply placed inside it. The atmosphere needed to feel warm, understated and naturally suited to Marrakech.
The Concept
A restrained palette of ivory, dark wood and greenery allowed the architecture to remain central. Candlelight repeated through the courtyard while warm lighting highlighted walls, trees and architectural details.
Production
The space was built in layers: dining layout first, followed by furniture, linen and tableware. Candles, decorative elements and lighting were then introduced before final styling and evening adjustments.
The Result
A courtyard that changed naturally from daylight to night. The final setting felt intimate and immersive while still allowing the character of the original venue to remain visible throughout the evening.
